Do you have a waiting list?

We do not have a waiting list. Our apartments are given on a first come first serve basis when they become available.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We are pet friendly. Pets must be under 25 lbs full grown (no pit or rottweiler mix)we do require a $300 non-refundable pet fee per pet  (2 pets per apartment)

How long can I lease an apartment?

You can lease an apartment at Yorkshire Apartments or Herlong Apartments for 6, 9, or 12 months; for a 6 month lease add $60 to the market rent value.

When do I pay the security deposit?

You only pay the security deposit once you have been approve. After being approved, you have 24 hours to pay that deposit. Security Deposits have to be paid with Certified Funds. (i.e. Debit/Credit Cards, Money Orders [except Money Grams] or Cashier Checks) $500 Security Deposit for 1 and 2 bedrooms for 6, 9 or 12 month leases and $700 for all 3 bedrooms for 6, 9 or 12 month leases.

APPLICATION FEES: $40/Leaseholder

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept, MasterCard, Visa, Apple Pay and Android Pay, along with Money Orders (except Money Grams), Cashier Checks and Personal Checks after the first month.

Do you check credit?

Yes we check credit but we do not  check scores. We also check criminal, verify employment/income (must show 1 month of pay stubs) and residency.

What are your qualifications?

Lease Holder must be 21 years of age and 18+ must complete a background authorization form, clean criminal record, no eviction or rules to vacate, income must be 3 times the amount of rent and all lease holders are required to carry renter's insurance during the term of the lease.  Thomasson Management Corp must be listed as certificate holder.  If you owe another apartment complex past due monies; if any utility companies are in collections (i.e. cable, internet, cell phone, gas, water or electric) or if your college loans are not deferred and are in collections you are disqualified.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the 1st of every month. We do allow a grace period that ends on the 5th.

What happens after my lease ends?

After your lease ends, and you have not renewed your lease, you become a month-to-month tenant. You are still required to give a 30 day notice to vacate before moving out.

Am I eligible for a lease renewal?

All tenants must pay on time for six consecutive months prior to renewal, have no lease violations and pending unit inspection per Thomasson Management Corp. to be eligible for a lease renewal. If you are not eligible for a lease renewal, you become a month-to-month lease holder and the rent will increase to market value.
